Are you looking for a supportive, accessible, and affordable online space where mothers who are fed up with the status quo can have meaningful dialogue and connection that supports our growth, healing, and liberation (and thus, the growth, healing, and liberation of those we love)?

IfYou

firewithgreen Feel the loss of the village deep in your bones. You know we’re not meant to be mothering in isolation and long for the connection and support of a close-knit, multi-generational community...

firewithgreen You love the idea of revillaging but aren’t sure where to start...

firewithgreen See motherhood as sacred, world-changing work. You recognize the essential, consciousness-shaping, humanity healing value of your daily investments but often wonder whether you’re actually doing enough...

firewithgreen Aspire to parent with consciousness and intention, yet often feel overwhelmed by the unrealistic standards this seems to require of you...

firewithgreen Are committed to personal growth but recognize that there’s only so far you can grow without the support of other sisters on similar journeys...

firewithgreen Have begun to give yourself permission to examine and meet your needs, fulfill your desires, and invest in the realization of your dreams...

firewithgreen Are committed to better understanding the way oppression works and the parts we all play in upholding oppressive systems, including white supremacy and patriarchy. You recognize that none of us are truly free until we’re all free...

firewithgreen Are a mother who refuses to settle for the isolation, perfectionism, and judgment that plagues modern-day motherhood...

WelcomeRightPlace

We’re wired for village life and for connection.

One person is not meant to tend to all the needs of a child.

Stocksy_txp4aaff0f7UqL300_Small_448975

That work - the visible and invisible - is meant to be shared within a family and also within a larger village. That’s why you feel so overwhelmed and like you’re never enough.

You weren’t meant to be the mother, chef, teacher, therapist, coach, disciplinarian, mentor, playmate, spiritual guide, chauffeur, medicine woman, magic maker, and more.

The Virtual Village is a unique online community of changemaker mothers who feel the absence of the village and long to build it for themselves and their children.

It's the most accessible and affordable Revolution From Home offering, as I realize not everyone who wants to be having these kinds of conversations can afford all of my courses or groups.

    MightyNetworksLogoName

Hosted outside of traditional social media, the Virtual Village lives on Mighty Networks, which allows you to come to the village for what you need without getting sucked into the trappings of Facebook and Instagram (ie mindless scrolling).

The Mighty Networks platform is simple and user-friendly, allowing you to post questions and comments, direct message other community members, find information about village-exclusive events, and even see whom from the group is near you.

There's also an app that puts connection with like-minded mamas right in your pocket!

Do I wish I could snap my fingers and instantly create supportive villages for all of us where aunties, uncles, grandparents, neighbors, and mentors share in the communal caretaking?
Yes
And... I believe in doing the best we can with the tools we have.

Some of our needs can be well met virtually, such as the need for deep and meaningful conversation and the need to deconstruct norms with other changemakers, which is why I have created the Virtual Village to meet modern mothers where they are at, connecting all of us revolutionaries no matter where our physical location is.

And, some mamas have even mentioned that they feel more free to share openly in a virtual group of people who are not in their own local community. So in some ways, virtual connection can meet needs that an actual village cannot.

ALittleBitAboutMe

My name is Beth Berry and I
have a revolution in my bones.

BethWhiteShirtSmilingCircle

It began when I was seventeen and pumping milk in the bathroom of my high school for my now-grown eldest daughter, and has gradually evolved into a tender, fiery conviction to reclaim motherhood from every disempowering personal and cultural story I can wrap my head and heart around.

As an author, life coach, group facilitator, teacher, and mother of four daughters (ages 15, 18, 21, and 27), I’ve spent thousands of hours mentoring and supporting mothers through their process of self-discovery, self-reclamation, and dream realization.

You can find my writing and voice on my Revolution From Home website and social media pages, within the curriculum of my year-long MotherWorthy groups, in my published writing, and in my book, Motherwhelmed.

The time I’ve spent in safe, nourishing circles with other passionate, intentional women has enriched my life, affirmed my inner knowings, and given me strength like nothing else, and I’m thrilled to be bringing us all together here in the Virtual Village!

Seeking validation from those not on an open-eyed growth and healing journey of their own can seriously slow your own development process.

The kinds of revolutionary thoughts we’re having alone in our homes, and conversations we’re having with one or two fed up mama friends are too important to keep to ourselves. We need a place to feel seen, heard, validated, and empowered (outside of the trappings of traditional social media) so we can go deeper together and make a bigger impact.

My intent is that the Virtual Village will be just that - a meaningful and soul-nourishing part of your pieced-together modern village.

The moms in the Virtual Village are the kind you rarely meet in real life - the ones who get real, value connection, and are with you in the process of learning to reclaim themselves. They’re the ones you exchange numbers with at the park when you realize you both prefer deep conversation to the usual small talk, and you hold onto them tightly.

ZoomPhotoREDONE

In addition to being a part of this unique and curated community, this is the online space where I get most intimate. Social media has its limits and I feel more inclined to share and interact personally here in a way that I don’t on Facebook and Instagram.

In the Virtual Village, I also host a monthly meeting called the “Community Conversation,” for members only. These are topic-based discussions that are a casual, interactive way to connect for one hour and share the realities of our lives - along with friendship, wisdom, and laughter. Chances are, you'll leave feeling seen, connected, inspired, and a little lighter.

Even if you can’t make the Community Conversations live, we always post the replay so you can join us in your own time.

At every season change, I also offer an "Ask Me Anything" call to answer your specific questions. This could be something relating to a topic you want to know more about, something to do with your personal situation, or it could be something about my journey.

Basically, it's a way to get your questions answered in a group setting - yet another way for us to come together as a village.

EQUITY SEATS + SCHOLARSHIPS

I offer discounted “Equity Seats” for BIPOC women, rooted in a reparations framework/mindset. This is my contribution to Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, and mixed-race mothers struggling on the front lines and navigating the intersectionality of their identities. I see you, and I greatly value your presence in this space and contribution to this experience.

It's important to me that as many mothers who need it can access the Virtual Village. You are welcome to apply for a scholarship if your financial situation makes the full cost out of reach.

*Note: I offer these scholarships in good faith. Please act with integrity and only apply for one if you have a genuine need. This allows me to continue to offer this form of financial support to the mothers who need it most.

FAQs

What time of day are the Community Conversation calls held?

Our Community Conversation & Ask Beth Anything calls in the Virtual Village are usually held at around 1pm EST. We also always record our calls, so that you can soak up the shares and wisdom on the replays if you can't make them live for any reason. You'll be amazed at the sense of connection that can be felt over Zoom - even over a recording!

What day of the week are the calls held?

Our Community Conversation calls tend to be on a Tuesday, around the middle of the month, but that can vary. We also have the 'Ask Me Anything' calls where you have the opportunity to ask Beth a question. These are once a season, and tend to be on a different day of the week, a Wednesday or a Thursday usually.

Is there a minimum length of membership or is it monthly?

Membership of the Virtual Village is monthly, so you can join us for as little as a month or stay as long as you like!

Can I cancel my membership whenever I want?

Yes! We hope you'll love it but if you find the Virtual Village doesn't meet your needs as you hoped, you can go ahead and cancel your subscription at any time, easily in your online account (or by reaching out to us if you prefer).

In the Virtual Village, you will also see and interact with my amazing team members who are fellow mamas on a personal growth path, each bringing a valuable set of skills to our community...

Few things bring me more joy than witnessing and supporting mothers as they grow into truer, more fully realized versions of themselves.

My work in the world is to keep my heart open (even when doing so is painful), to dismantle systems of oppression (starting with those I’ve internalized), to seek, honor, and revive the sacred feminine, and to hold a lantern for mothers ready to be more effective, joyful changemakers.

If you’re one of those women, I’d love to have you join our Virtual Village.
